Office Manager (New York)

We are looking for a part or full time Office Manager to join a fast-growing technology company. The goal is to ensure that the company’s general office operations run smoothly and to maintain a pleasant work environment for all, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety. You will be responsible for the overall management of the office, HR/staff administration and providing assistance to Finance and other departments as required.


Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. You should also have experience with a variety of office software (email, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties and confidential data, with a high attention to detail.

This role is available on a part time or full time basis so will suit someone looking for flexibility in the working week.


Reports to: President and work closely with UK counterparts




  • Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training & development
  • Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
  • Administer staff annual leave, sickness etc. and help resolve issues and problems
  • Administer staff benefit plans (pensions, gym, childcare vouchers, Perkbox etc)
  • Maintain client and employee files and records in electronic and paper form, ensuring these meet data protection requirements
  • Manage staff correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Ensure company meets Health & Safety requirements
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Become (secondary) named Fire Warden / First Aider for office
  • Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Attend to or report any office / maintenance issues and attend building tenant meetings
  • Supplier management (office security, cleaners, stationery, franking machine, insurance renewals etc)
  • Filing of general office documentation
  • Administrative assistance to Finance (invoicing / credit control) and other departments as required
  • Manage post
  • Greet and support visitors to office
  • Organise regular staff social events

  • The package is available on pro-rated basis for suitable candidates who prefer to work part time or with more flexible hours.
